A veteran of the United States Army with nearly 30 years of experience in business and industry, Dr. Pacheco has led large and small teams in the public and private sectors. She serves as the Department Chair for the business programs at Vincennes University and teaches a variety of courses, including: business statistics (one of her favorite classes), management, sales and marketing, as well as the business programs’ capstone courses. She strongly believes in bringing experiential learning to the classroom. She stimulates the students’ professional growth by using simulations, hands-on activities, and project-based learning, to provide opportunities for them to build much needed skills to successfully compete in today’s business environment. As a life-long learner, she easily relates to the challenges that many students face with managing a full load of studies with competing priorities, such as: work and/or athletic schedules, clubs and organizations, or even raising a family. She devotes much of her work-time to mentoring and tutoring her students.

When I'm Not Teaching

Originally from central Ohio, I am a die-hard Ohio State Buckeye fan. My wonderful husband, Jerick, and I have three amazing kids (Rusty – 29, Ethan - 27, and Isabela -10) and two precious Cavalier King Charles fur-babies (Marty McFly and Archie Andrews). We love to travel internationally, and we visit my husband’s family as often as possible in his home country, the beautiful Philippine islands. In addition to traveling, my other hobbies include amateur photography, learning foreign languages, camping, and scuba diving.
