Accuplacer - Placement Exam

  • Not all new students will need to take the Accuplacer exam prior to registering.  If you have transfer credit in college level English and math, or a qualifying high school GPA, or sufficient SAT or ACT scores, you may be exempt from taking Accuplacer.

  • The Accuplacer is required for all students who have not successfully completed college English and math courses or achieved appropriate SAT/ACT scores

  • Your Accuplacer scores will determine your initial classes for your first semester at VUJ. To better prepare, take a practice test, using the Accuplacer Study App.

  • Schedule your Accuplacer exam here. To schedule a virtual Accuplacer exam, email your request to accuplacer@vinu.edu.

  • If you need accommodations for testing, please call the Director of Student Services at 812-482-3030 at least two weeks prior to the testing date.
