* 30-12 overall record

* Reached the Semi-Final of the NJCAA District J playoff tournament

Indiana University East Coach Abby Niekamp: “Genesis is a great addition to our team. She’s such a versatile and athletic player, really a complete volleyball player. She can play any front row position and will most likely be a 6 rotation player for us. Genesis also brings a certain level of leadership and maturity. We’re excited to see how she impacts our program!”

Gary Sien, VU Head Women's Volleyball Coach: "Genesis was a late addition to the program when I started in June 2016. She has certainly been one of our top players as she led us in kills in both 2016 and 2017. You could not have asked for a better situation for her as she reunites with teammate Cali Topolski who is a setter. Indiana University East is a rising program and those two can contribute immediately. More importantly, they are getting a very good, hard working student. Genesis is a good person with a great disposition which will help in a leadership role. She is looking to take advantage of this opportunity to study and play here in the U.S. We have no doubt she will have continued success in these and other areas.”
