Bill Gollmitzer is an Associate Professor of Law Enforcement who joined the faculty at Vincennes University in 2014. Bill is former United States Marine Corps Investigator, and retired Louisiana Peace Officer who brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience to his classroom. A Vincennes University graduate of the Law Enforcement Program with an Associate’s Degree, Bill also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice Administration, and a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management from Sam Houston State University. Bill is beginning his second year on the Vincennes University Faculty Senate, serves on the COPE Advisory Board, serves on the Phillip M. Summers Teaching Summit Advisory Board, serves as a Law Enforcement Academic Advisor, and is one of the faculty advisors for the Upsilon Chapter, Lambda Alpha Epsilon (American Criminal Justice Association).
When I'm Not Teaching
Bill and his wife Kathy have three grown children and eight grandchildren. The couple resides in Vincennes and are active in their church and several local organizations.
