Field of teams for VU Volleyball's Showdown At The Wabash revised yet again

The field of teams for VU Volleyball's Showdown At The Wabash this weekend has been shuffled YET AGAIN with changes to Saturday's match-ups between VU and two opponents.

Trailblazer Coach Stephanie Armstrong was contacted earlier this morning by two teams' coaches who requested changes in match times.

The third REVISED schedule for the Friday and Saturday invitational is now as follows:
3 p.m. VU vs. Cincinnati State
5 p.m. Parkland vs. Cincinnati State
7 p.m. VU vs. Kalamazoo Valley

3 p.m. Parkland vs. Lake Michigan
5 p.m. Lake Michigan vs. Kalamazoo Valley

11 a.m. VU vs. Lake Michigan
1 p.m. VU vs. Parkland
3 p.m. Parkland vs. Kalamazoo Valley

11 a.m. Cincinnati State vs. Kalamazoo Valley
1 p.m. Cincinnati State vs. Lake Michigan

Play for Kay Cancer Awareness

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause. Kay Yow was a college head coach for 38 years and past president and founding member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. Her name is synonymous with North Carolina State. She is a member of the Naismith National Basketball Hall of Fame and achieved more than 700 career victories. Yow was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987. She passed away in 2009 after an on-again, off-again battle with the disease.

Scholarship Fund

Trailblazer Scholarship Fund - The VU Foundation awarded a record $1.4 million scholarship dollars of VU Foundation and University funds for the 2015-2016 school year to incoming and returning VU students.  

These included awards to students from 10 states across the country and 4 international awards.  

Currently the VU Foundation manages over 540 scholarship and department funds, with 259 new funds created in just the last 10 years.
