Updated VU Basketball games' days and times for remainder of NJCAA district basketball tournaments

INA, Ill. - After all the weather-related shuffling of the brackets and schedules for the NJCAA district tournaments for both men and women at Rend Lake College in Ina, IL, here is how the day looks on Friday for VU's teams (according to brackets posted at www.rlc.edu):
The second seeded Vincennes University Women's Basketball Team will face Kaskaskia in a semifinal game at 4 p.m. (EST or "Vincennes time").
The other women's semifinal game will feature Wabash Valley and Olney Central at 2 p.m. (EST).
The No. 1 seed Vincennes University Men's Basketball Team will return to the Waugh Gymnasium floor at 6 p.m. (EST) Friday to take on Wabash Valley in a semifinal game. Wabash Valley defeated Southwestern Illinois earlier today to earn the spot vs. the Trailblazers in the semifinals.
That VU-Wabash Valley game will be followed by the other semifinal that has the winner of today's John A. Logan-Lake Land and Kaskaskia-Olney Central games.
Saturday's championship games are set for 6 p.m. (EST) for the women and 8 p.m. (EST) for the men.

Play4Kay

The Vincennes University Athletic Department hosts Play4Kay and raises donations for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund annually. VU Women’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Harry Meeks has a special connection to the late Yow, who was the longtime coach at North Carolina State. He had the pleasure of meeting her while he was an assistant coach at Western Carolina University. This left a lasting impression on him and made this cause important to him and the Trailblazers.
